Why do people think that the talents and good that they do, is of their own design?

Human beings are empty shells created from the muck and dirt of this world. We have life within us, because it pleases God that we go on living. Every talent; dancing, singing, playing the piano, etc., are not ours but gifts bestowed upon us to be used for God's purposes. All the good we do and everything we achieve is not of our own initiation, but because we cooperate with God's spirit of love and goodness to allow Him to achieve His goals. For our undying love for God and service we are rewarded eternally with the gift of adoration at the foot of His throne in Heaven. What say YOU???
