What happened? Done before it even began...completely confused!?

Alright, I have been brooding over this for a some weeks now and need some insight. I went to a small party with some friends, only like 10 of us there, and I had my eye on a very cute guy the entire night. We ended up sleeping next to each other, no naughty business at all. In the morning he gave me a full on back massage twice and cuddled it was the nicest feeling and then we had to get on with our days. Later I found out he asked for my number from a mutual friend and I was ecstatic but no phone call...I waited and finally after a week and a half I decided to take it upon myself to talk to him, so I found him on facebook, since I didn't have his number, and simply said I had a good time on thursday maybe we could hang out sometime...no response...nothing at all it has now been 3 weeks and honestly I am still thoroughly confused...what happened..showing that much interest and then poof gone? Now I feel rejected which is why I am constantly thinking about it, ugh ><
