What is a "Maggot" when talking about SlipKnot?

Unlike the other "answers" on this question i will give you the TRUE meaning of a Slipknot "Maggot". The name came about from the band members because while performing on stage they say that the fans look likd maggots "swarming" a piece of meat (meaning the stage they were on). From then on they called their fans maggots but its used as a term of endeerment and its not like its an insult or anything! And as you can see from all of the answers on this question that either you love Slipknot or you hate them. But you can also tell that most people are ignorant stereotypes. LOL
