Where's my life heading?

You should talk to a therapist. No really, you need some advice and someone to talk to. I was bored when I left college too. I don't talk to anyone much anymore from school or college. I have the same issue. Except I am not totally done with college, just couldn't afford to finish. I know it's hard in the Chemistry field, but you could always look for work being a Pharmacy Technician in the meantime. Or look for medical assisting jobs. My therapist told me about OR training. Operating room training. You travel around assisting the docs with medical supplies. I'm thinking about doing that, until I can do more for myself. It takes only a year to be able to do it. I feel bad that you went to school for that amount of time and still can't get a job. Or if you can get a job doing something else, you could get hired somewhere that doesn't require a specific degree. Don't give up. You'll find something.
