Is there anywhere I can download starcraft original for free?

I heard its not technically illegal to download things you have already bought. I owned 3 copies of the original game at one point but I cannot find any of them anymore - I've only found a Brood War CD which you can't install unless you have the original already installed, which on this computer I don't. I don't want to have to buy it again, but I do wish to play it. Is there anywhere I can download it for free? Provide a link please.
