How do you host a Starcraft Brood War game without a router or port?

I went to portforwarding.com but my game still wont work. I don't have a router or port. So if I do not have a router or port can I still host or not? And if I can not host then what can I do to host. And not the latency trick. If I can still host then why do people don't people join? I hosted Pokemon RPG, Rps, 4v4 Micro. Team Micro Arena, and much more. But only 1 or 2 people join. No more than 2 unless I do the latency trick. Please help me! And if buying a router or port is the only way to host games on Starcraft Brood War, I can never host.
